Pacheţele de Sf. Nicolae / Sweet bags for St. Nicholas

Am intrat şi în ultima lună din an, poate cea mai aşteptată: decembrie. Când spui decembrie, spui inevitabil Crăciun, cadouri, luminiţe, brad împodobit, târguri, vin fiert, scorţişoară, portocale, cozonaci, turtă dulce, dar şi ghetuţe şi Moş Nicolae (şi încă multe altele). În fiecare casă, pregătirile pentru sărbători sunt intense, se fac liste, se modifică şi tot aşa.

at e., adică eu, s-a gândit anul acesta să facă pe Moş Nicolae. Aşa că voi organiza o petrecere at e. altfel, ducând pacheţele cu dulciuri duminica aceasta la Nana Farm, pentru cei care au aceeaşi pasiune ca şi mine (alta decât gătitul), şi anume echitaţia.

Ce voi pune în pacheţele? Dulciuri pregătite de mine, în ton cu atmosfera sărbătorilor de iarnă. Vi le dezvălui acum, urmând să revin cu reţetele şi poze de la înmânatul cadourilor:

• Pepparkakor (turtă dulce suedeză)
• Mantecados (fursecuri spaniole aromate)
• Tablete de ciocolată cu aromă de Crăciun
• Felii de portocală confiate cu înveliş de ciocolată

Eu mă duc să-mi pregătesc ghetuţele, ca să-l aştept cum se cuvine pe Moşul. Dacă aţi fost cuminţi, faceţi şi voi la fel!

So here we are in the last month of this year, maybe the one that is most expected: December. When you say December, you say Christmas, gifts, lights, Christmas tree, fairs, mulled wine, cinnamon, oranges, cakes, gingerbread, but also Saint Nicholas (and many others). In each house, the preparations for the holidays are intense, people make shopping lists, gifts lists, change them and start all over again.
at e., meaning myself, thought to go as Saint Nicholas' helper this year. So I will throw a different at e. party and bring sweet bags to Nana Farm this Sunday, for those who share the same passion for horses as I do.

What will I put in the bags? Homemade sweets, to fit with the holiday season. I will reveal them to you now and come back later with an update on the recipes and photos:

• Pepparkakor (Swedish Gingerbread Cookies)
• Mantecados (Spanish Spiced Cookies)
• Christmas Chocolates
• Candied Orange Slices in Chocolate
